Sierra Pacific’s winter rally week will be Feb. 17-20 with the theme being the Pixar movie “Cars.”
The week will include four dress-up days with the winter rally ending the week on Feb. 20 in the Sierra Pacific gym.
Dress up days include traffic light trio day Feb. 17 (match as a trio), cozy cone day Feb. 18 (wear compfy clothes), race to the finish line day (wear checkered/black and white clothes and speedway spirit day Feb. 20 (freshmen wear green, sophomores wear blue, juniors wear purple, seniors wear red and staff wears black).
Any students interested in participating in rally games can ask ASB members at break Feb. 18 at The Den in the student quad.
Grad Nite
As of Feb. 12, only two tickets remain for the 2026 Grad Nite at Disneyland.
Tickets are first come, first serve and can be purchased at the ASB window. Tickets are $357 and must be paid in full. Students can only purchase for themselves and debt must first be cleared.
Any student who ends up on the waitlist is not guaranteed a ticket.
Academic Decathlon
Multiple Sierra Pacific athletes earned honors in this year’s Kings County Academic Decathlon.
Daniel Shubert was Sierra Pacific’s top competitor, scoring the most points for the team for the third straight year to win a $200 scholarship. He earned first place in the essay honor division. He earned third place in the honor division for literature after placing second last year after winning in 2024. Shubert was also second in social science honor division.
Abigail Diaz earned second play in the honor division for interview.
Ammar Shaie earned first place in the varsity division for social science and math. He scored the highest overall score to earn a $100 scholarship.
Jaxon Sanchez was third place in the math scholastic division.
