Summer has left and winter has arrived. Along with the arrival of winter, winter formal follows right behind it.
This year’s winter formal, with the theme “Once Upoon a Time” will be hosted in the Hanford High gym Saturday, Dec. 13.
The dance runs from 7-10 p.m. with doors closing at 9 p.m.
There will be many attractions at the formal. Some of these things include food vendors, photographers, a 360 photo booth, and of course, music.
Lovlie Steele, a student at Sierra Pacific, stated the best thing about last year’s formal was dancing with her friends. She expects this year’s dance to have better decorations and better music.
There are some requirements to get into the winter formal. Students must check in and out with Minga. All guests must check in and out with their hosts. All guests must have a photo ID.
Some additional information on the winter formal: Tickets are $30 with your ASB card and $35 without an ASB card. A “FORMAL ELIGIBLE” sticker will appear on students’ Minga ID if they are eligible to purchase a ticket.
Guest passes are no longer availble with Dec. 12 being the last day to buy tickets.
