The 2023 winter formal will be held Dec. 13 in the Hanford High gym from 7-10 p.m. This year’s theme is “Once Upon a Time.”
Tickets are $30 with an Associated Student Body pass and $35 without. Students must be eligible and have no debts to the district. Students who are eligible to purchase tickets will have a “formal eligible” sticker placed on their Minga ID Dec. 4.
Tickets are available to purchase at the Finance Office window starting on Friday, Dec. 5 during non-class times. Out-of-district guest passes must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 5.
Food truck design competition
Students at Sierra Pacific High School can get a chance to design the school’s new food truck.
The truck, which will help reduce lines at the school’s cafe at break and lunch, will feature the winner of the school’s design contest to decorate the truck.
The contest is open to all Sierra Pacific students with the truck needing to have a Sierra Pacific themed digital design. Design elements should include the truck’s hood panel, two side doors and two door panels along with a name for the truck.
The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, Dec. 5.

Intramurals
Volleyball intramurals start Dec. 2.
Games will be 6 vs. 6 with each team allowed four subs. Two girls must be on the court at all times during matches.
Games will be played Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch.
Anyone that is interested in signing up a team is ask to see Mr. Cabrera or Mr. Snyder in the office.
