The Sierra Pacific girls soccer team got goals from 10 different players on its way to a 14-0 victory over Central Nov. 20 in Fresno.
The Golden Bears (1-0) led 8-0 at the half before scoring six more in the second half.
Leading the way for Sierra Pacific was Anya Jackson, who scored three goals and added an assist. Addison Covarrubias and Grace Kahn scored two goals apiece.
Sierra Pacific hosts Templeton Nov. 25 at 6 p.m.
Boys soccer
The Golden Bears fell in their opener 4-0 to Bullard Nov. 18.
Sierra Pacific plays Hanford Nov. 22 at 1:30 p.m.
Girls basketball
Sierra Pacific continued its tough preseason schedule by facing the No. 6 team in the country Nov. 21, losing to Sierra Canyon 73-30 at the Sierra Pacific Turkey Leg Throwdown.
Earlier in the week, the Golden Bears lost to defending Central Section Div. I champion Clovis West and Clovis.
Sierra Pacific, the defending Div. II champion, is now 0-3.
The Golden Bears play Clovis North Nov. 22.
