The Sierra Pacific boys basketball team is 3-0 after a strong start to its season.
The Golden Bears have posted victories over Corcoran 95-47, Strathmore 67-58 and Parlier 83-42.
Leading the team is Aiden Lugo, who is averaging 26.3 points per game, including 31 against Corcoran in the team’s season opener. He also had a team-high 22 points in the win over Parlier. Grant Gardner added 17 points in the win over Parlier.
Sierra Pacific’s next game is Dec. 3 when it hosts McLane.
Boys soccer
The Golden Bears are still looking for their first win of the season after a 3-1 loss to San Joaquin Memorial of Fresno Nov. 25.
Sierra Pacific is now 0-2-1. The Golden Bears host Granite Hills Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
Girls soccer
Sierra Pacific tied Templeton 1-1 Nov. 25 to fall to 1-0-1 on the season.
The Golden Bears start play in the Clovis tournament Dec. 5 against San Luis Obispo.
Girls basketball
Sierra Pacific fell to 1-7 on the season after losing on the final day of the Mater Dei tournament Nov. 29.
The Golden Bears lost to Windward 53-48 to end the tournament 1-3.
Sierra Pacific’s next game is Dec. 11 against Kalani.
