With the Autobots and Decepticons fighting for almost more than 40 years, spanding from many cartoons, toys, amazing comics and such, a Brand New Movie has been released alongside it.
And I must say, It was a fantastic breath of fresh air after many Live-Action movies by Director Micheal Bay and “Bumblebee” from Director Travis Knight which essentially made a much more faithful reboot to the Transformers movies after the Negative feedback from “Transformers: the Last Knight”. So to see this movie come after “Transformers: Rise of the Beast” was amazing.
This movie was close to being on par with 1986’s “Transformers the Movie” with it being an Animated film. And with what this movie had to offer, it wouldn’t be fully fair to compare these movies since “Transformers One”, Directed by Josh Cooley acts as an origin story to the characters Optimus Prime or Orion Pax, voiced by Chris Hemsworth and Megatron or D-16 voiced by Brian Tyree Henry as miners who are working below the surface of their city, Iacon set in Cybertron and are working hard for their “Savior” Sentinel Prime (Jon Hamm).
Along with that we have many more characters such as Bumblebee or B-127 (Keegan-Micheal Key) and Elita (Scarlett Johanson) who I might add both put in amazing acting along with the others.
I won’t spoil much of the movie, but I must say the story is great, sprinkling a few decent jokes throughout the movie. It was so upsetting seeing the friendship of Pax and 16 slowly fade throughout the movie, Which is noticeable with 16’s eyes slowly changing within each part of the movie, going from yellow to the Iconic red Decepticon eyes.
This is accompanied by the stunning visuals, which you can really tell they put a lot of time into, and the lighting is very stunning within each scene, looking much better on the big screen than in trailers.
As for the Music, it was so mesmerizing, each part sounding very robot-like while having a bit of Spark that some of the other movies had. If the scene took place in Iacon, it sounded like a society that would feel real. Or if the scene took place underground Iacon, the mines where it makes the scene more tense. Speaking of, There are scenes where everything feels like it would be in this large city that would exist among the stars, Sort of like a Utopia. Even later into the Film on the Upper parts of the City of Cybertron and how it looks really stunning with Nature and these large and tall robots walking through them and the Wasteland left behind and attacked by the Threats of Cybertron.
Despite the Praises so far, there were a few scenes that left me quite Uncomfortable, Mainly those including 16. They aren’t bad, it’s just a bit unsettling seeing Megatron at a few instances in the Movie when He fought, He slowly grew to love something, only for it to be ruined and cause all this havoc among Cybertron.
But even with this one down, the movie is still Amazing in almost every Single way. I would highly recommend it for kids, teens, adults or any fan of Transformers – new and old.
