
Leading 4-1 after five innings, the Sierra Pacific baseball team allowed six runs in the final two innings to fall to Central Valley Christian 7-4 in a Tri-County Kings League opener for both teams April 2.
The Golden Bears were held to just five hits at the Cavaliers pounded out 11 hits for the come-from-behind victory.
Sierra Pacific starter Xander Stone went five innings, allowing four runs (all earned) with two strike outs and two walks. He allowed seven hits.
With the loss, Sierra Pacific falls to 9-4 overall and 0-1 in league.
The two teams play again April 4 in Visalia.
