She frequently repeats the lyric “he loves me yeah,” which is also the title of her song, a lyric that becomes very catchy after listening.
Creating a big hit, she collaborated with Lil Yatchy on her song “Lego Ring.” It talks about knowing what one wants and needs. Lil Yatchy’s verse doesn’t come until the end. This song could have used a combination of both people to follow the flow of music, which is what didn’t happen due to his voice popping up for only the end of the song. It’s a very peaceful song with the repeated lyric of “I think I’ll figure it out.” Most of the song is filled with lyrics, except for the last minute of it, which is just the beat. This change is very unexpected as lyrics usually follow the last minute of a song, but this one didn’t. The change was new, but nice as it allowed for the listener to really indulge with the feeling of the song.
One of her most popular songs “Kingston” from one of her later albums is very melancholy and similar to her songs in her new album. She keeps the same vibe to most of the music she makes. As a singer for alternative indie music, she really gets the feel of her music across, while creating a soothing tone.
She rose to popularity through the spread of her music on various platforms like TikTok on which various users used her music in the background of their videos. “Kingston” along with “I Know You” are two all time favorites that led her to become well known. She began creating music at the age of 16 writing and singing her own songs. She’s only 26 and has achieved so much with the take she has on music.
Though her music is very calm, it has its moments where it’s uplifting. By working with other artists, she’s able to add new feelings to her music, while keeping the ones she’s already created. She could definitely continue to allow more voices to play a role in her songs as they add a new take to her vibe. This way it keeps the flow of music consistent, instead of having songs that sound very similar. She could always just change the flow herself, which she has done in the past.
